I. Động học trùng hợp vinyl clorua Tổng quan
Chất khởi đầu gốc tự do như AIBN phân hủy tạo gốc tự do.
1.2. Cơ chế trùng hợp gốc tự do
Phản ứng khởi đầu: chất khởi đầu phân hủy nhiệt tạo gốc tự do. Phản ứng lan truyền: gốc tự do tấn công liên kết đôi C=C của monomer. Chuỗi polymer phát triển qua phản ứng cộng liên tiếp. Phản ứng kết thúc xảy ra qua tái hợp hoặc chuyển gốc. Tốc độ trùng hợp phụ thuộc vào nồng độ chất khởi đầu và nhiệt độ. Hằng số tốc độ các bước phản ứng quyết định động học tổng thể.
4.1. Phương pháp phân tích DSC
Khối lượng mẫu DSC từ 5-10 mg. Quét nhiệt độ từ 25°C đến 300°C. Tốc độ gia nhiệt 10°C/phút trong khí nitơ. Đỉnh thu nhiệt ở 200-250°C do tách HCl. Nhiệt phân hủy (ΔH) dao động 50-100 J/g. PVC có chất phụ gia cho ΔH thấp hơn. Nhiệt độ bắt đầu phân hủy (Tonset) là chỉ số ổn định. Tonset cao hơn chỉ độ ổn định nhiệt tốt hơn.
4.2. Kết quả đo TGA
Mất khối lượng bắt đầu ở 200-220°C cho PVC chuẩn. Giai đoạn đầu mất 60-65% khối lượng do tách HCl.
6.1. Phương trình động học cơ bản
Tốc độ trùng hợp: Rp = kp[M][R•]. [R•] là nồng độ gốc tự do ổn định. [M] là nồng độ monomer. Giả thiết trạng thái dừng: Ri = Rt. Ri = 2fkd[I] (tốc độ khởi đầu). Rt = 2kt[R•]² (tốc độ kết thúc). Từ đó: [R•] = √(fkd[I]/kt). Rp = kp[M]√(fkd[I]/kt). Độ chuyển hóa: X = 1 - [M]/[M]0. Trọng lượng phân tử: Mn = (kp[M]/ktransfer)[M].
6.3. Tích hợp chất phụ gia vào mô hình
Chất phụ gia A tương tác với gốc: R• + A ⇌ R•···A. Phức gốc-chất phụ gia có hoạt tính khác. kp,eff = kp(1 + K[A]α). K là hằng số tạo phức, α là hệ số hoạt tính. Chất phụ gia cũng ảnh hưởng kt: kt,eff = kt(1 + K'[A]β). Hằng số chuyển chuỗi: Ctr = ktr/kp thay đổi. Mô hình dự đoán Rp và Mn theo [A]. Tham số K, α, β xác định từ fitting dữ liệu thực nghiệm.
